Easter: The Tomb is Empty!

Daddy had to work this holiday, which is why he isn’t in any of the photos, although he did take the ones with ME in them!  The egg hunt in the last few photos is for Resurrection eggs, with each containing a representation of a “story” taking place between Palm Sunday and Christ’s ascension.  Ben’s egg is the “darkness” that covered the sky when Jesus died.

(Yes, that is a potty chair sitting on a chair in one of the egg photos. It is clean, waiting to be sold. Just so you know!)

This year’s Easter included many more aspects than in past years. The Empty Tomb Rolls (crescent roll dough, sprinkled with cinnamon & sugar, wrapped around a marshmallow) were a big hit, and the kids loved the book “An Easter Hunt” which has a search-and-find picture on each page, and can also be used as a real life hunt in your house. Next year!

We had a happy holiday – I hope yours was blessed as well!
